Radiotelefonska oprema za območje VHF za splošne komunikacije in pripadajoča oprema za digitalni selektivni klic (DSC) razreda D - Harmonizirani standard, ki zajema bistvene zahteve členov 3.2 in 3.3(g) direktive 2014/53/EU

Ta dokument zajema minimalne zahteve za splošno komunikacijo z ladijskimi, stalno nameščenimi napravami z radiotelefonom VHF, ki deluje v določenih frekvenčnih pasovih, dodeljenih pomorskim mobilnim storitvam, ki uporabljajo kanale 25 kHz ali 25 kHz in 12,5 kHz in ustrezno opremo za digitalni selektivni klic (DSC) razreda D.
Te zahteve vsebujejo ustrezne določbe ITU pravilnika o radiokomunikacijah, dodatek 18 [1], priporočila ITU-R M.493-13 [3] (v katerih je določen razred D), M.825-3 [i.4] in vključujejo ustrezne smernice IMO, kot so opisane v okrožnici IMO MSC/Circ-803 [i.1].
Ta dokument določa tudi tehnične karakteristike, merilne metode in zahtevane rezultate preskusov. Ta dokument zajema zahteve za dokaz, da »... je radijska oprema sestavljena tako, da učinkovito uporablja in tudi podpira učinkovito uporabo radijskega spektra, tako da ne pride do škodljivega motenja« [i.3], ter da »... radijska oprema podpira določene funkcije, ki zagotavljajo dostop do storitev za nujne primere« [i.3].
Poleg tega dokumenta se lahko za opremo na področju uporabe tega dokumenta uporabljajo tudi drugi standardi EN, ki določajo tehnične zahteve v zvezi z bistvenimi zahtevami iz drugih delov člena 3 Direktive 2014/53/EU [i.3].
