1 Domaine d’application et références normatives
Remplacer, à la page 10, le paragraphe 1.1.3 existant par le nouveau paragraphe 1.1.3
ci-dessous.
1.1.3 Un actionneur électrique soumis au laboratoire d'essai en combinaison avec une
vanne de gaz sera évalué selon la présente partie 2. Un actionneur électrique séparé est
évalué selon la CEI 60730-2-14, qui donne les prescriptions particulières pour les actionneurs
électriques.
Supprimer les paragraphes 1.2 à 1.4 existants.

This Part 2 is intended to be used with IEC 60730-1. It was established on the basis of the third
edition (1999) of that publication. Consideration may be given to future editions of, or amend-
ments to IEC 60730-1.

1 Scope and normative references

Replace, on page 11, the existing subclause 1.1.3 with the following new subclause 1.1.3:
An electric actuator that is submitted to the testing laboratory in combination with an oil
valve will be evaluated under this part 2. A separate electric actuator is evaluated under
IEC 60730-2-14, which provides particular requirements for electric actuators.
Delete existing subclauses 1.2 to 1.4.

14.4.101 Si le blocage de l'arbre de commande d'un actionneur électrique motorisé fait
partie du fonctionnement normal, les arbres de commande des actionneurs électriques
motorisés doivent être bloqués et les températures mesurées après avoir atteint des
conditions de fonctionnement stables. Les températures doivent respecter les limites du
tableau 14.1. De plus, si un quelconque dispositif de protection fourni n'accomplit pas un
cycle dans les conditions de blocage, l'actionneur électrique est aussi considéré comme
respectant les prescriptions de 27.2.101.
14.4.102 Si le blocage de l'arbre de commande d'un actionneur électrique motorisé ne fait
pas partie du fonctionnement normal, les limites du tableau 14.1 ne s'appliquent pas pendant

14.4.101 If stalling of the motorized electric actuator drive shaft is part of normal operation,
then the drive shaft of motorized actuators shall be stalled and temperatures measured after
steady-state conditions are reached. The temperatures shall comply with the limits of
table 14.1. In addition, if any protective device provided does not cycle under stalled conditions,
then the electric actuator is also considered to comply with the requirements of 27.2.101.
14.4.102 If stalling of the motorized electric actuator drive shaft is not part of normal
