Foreword
IS0 (the International Organization for Standardization) is a worldwide federation of
(IS0 member bodies). The work of developing Inter-
national standards institutes
national Standards is carried out through IS0 technical committees. Every member
body interested in a subject for which a technical committee has been set up has the

International Standard IS0 2013 was developed by Technical Committee ISO/TC 72,
Textile machinery and allied machinery and accessories, and was circulated to the

1 Scope and field of application
This International Standard defines variations of form and position, i.e. circular run-out tolerance - axial of flanges, parallelism
tolerance between flanges, total barrel run-out tolerance of beams with and without shafts, and gives the methods of measuring these
variations of form and position.
The maximum tolerances together with the recommended limit for residual imbalance are specified in the particular Inter-
national Standards for each type of beam.

L‘ISO (Organisation internationale de normalisation) est une fédération mondiale

1 Objet et domaine d'application
La présente Norme internationale définit les variations de forme et de position, c'est-à-dire la tolérance de battement circulaire axial ou
voilure des joues, la tolérance de parallélisme entre joues et la tolérance de battement total du fût des ensouples avec et sans ((arbres
porteurs)), et donne les méthodes de mesurage de ces variations.
Les valeurs maximales admissibles ainsi que la limite recommandée pour le déséquilibrage résiduel sont précisées dans chacune des
Normes internationales propres aux divers types d'ensouples.
