Diese Internationale Norm beschreibt ein System zur Einteilung von Kontaktlinsen und der Materialien, die zu deren Herstellung verwendet werden. Sie erlaubt, in vereinfachter Form, die genaue und nicht herstellerspezifische Angabe der chemischen Hauptbestandteile des Materials.

La CEI 62271-1:2007+A1:2011 s'applique à l'appareillage à courant alternatif prévu pour être installé à l'intérieur ou à l'extérieur et pour fonctionner à des fréquences de service inférieures ou égales à 60 Hz, sur des réseaux de tension supérieure à 1 000 V. Cette norme s'applique à tout l'appareillage à haute tension, sauf spécification contraire dans les normes particulières de la CEI pour le type d'appareillage considéré. Cette version consolidée de la CEI 62271-1 comprend la première édition (2007) et son amendement 1 (2011). Elle porte le numéro d'édition 1.1. Une ligne verticale dans la marge indique où la publication de base a été modifiée par l'amendement 1. Les ajouts et les suppressions apparaissent en rouge, les suppressions sont barrées.
Cette version consolidée comprend la première édition (2007) et
son amendement 1 (2011). Il n'est donc pas nécessaire de commander
l'amendement avec cette publication.

1 Scope
This International Standard describes a method for classifying contact lenses and the materials used for their
manufacture. It permits the specific and non-proprietary identification, in simplified form, of the major chemical
components of the material.
2 Normative references

publications do not apply. However, parties to agreements based on this International Standard are encouraged to

3 Terms and definitions
For the purposes of this International Standard, the terms and definitions given in ISO 8320-1 apply.
4 Method of classification
4.1 General
The specific classification of a contact lens or contact lens material is given as a six-part code as follows:

For hydrogel contact lens materials, the classification denotes whether the material is ionic and the range in which
