53.040.01 - Continuous handling equipment in general

ISO 505:2017 specifies a method of test for the measurement of the propagation resistance of an initial tear in textile conveyor belts, either in full thickness or of the carcass only.
This test is intended for application to textile belts in installations where there is a risk of longitudinal tearing.

ISO 14617-14:2004 specifies graphical symbols in diagrams for components and devices for material transport and handling.

Establishes a nomenclature of terms in English and French used in continuous handling, including basic terms and names of the principal appliances. Numbering of terms is based on the classification establihed by FEM.
