This European Standard defines the single module plug used in the family of rectangular electrical connectors. The receptacle corresponding to this plug is defined in EN 4165-025. Accessories and protective cover corresponding to those plugs are defined in EN 4165-026. The cavity of this connector is uncoded, so it can accept polarized modules N, A, B, C and D as defined in EN 4165-002.

Diese Norm definiert freie Steckverbinder für Einzelmodule, die in der Familie der Rechtecksteckverbinder verwendet werden. Der diesem freien Steckverbinder entsprechende feste Steckverbinder ist in EN 4165-025 definiert. Endgehäuse und Schutzkappe für diese freien Steckverbinder sind in EN 4165-026 definiert. Die Vertiefung dieses Steckverbinders ist unkodiert und es können nach EN 4165-002 definierte polarisierte Module N, A, B, C und D verwendet werden.
