Aerospace series - Cables, electrical, aircraft use - Test methods - Part 704: Flexibility

This standard specifies two methods for appraising the flexibility of a completed cable and its bending aptitude, Method 1 is for cables not less than 5 mm2 cross-section cables and Method 2 for cables not larger than 5 mm2 (10 AWG) cross-section cables.
Unless otherwise specified in the product standard, Method 1 applies.
It shall be used together with EN 3475-100.

Diese Norm legt zwei Verfahren zur Bewertung der Biegsamkeit einer fertigen Leitung und deren Biegbarkeit fest, Verfahren 1 gilt für Leitungen mit einem Querschnitt von mehr als 5 mm2 und Verfahren 2 für Leitungen mit einem Querschnitt von oder von unter 5 mm2 (AWG-Größe 10).
Es gilt Verfahren 1, falls nicht anders in der Produktnorm festgelegt.
Die Norm ist in Verbindung mit EN 3475 100 anzuwenden.

EN 3475-704:2007 (E) 3 Foreword This document (EN 3475-704:2007) has been prepared by the Aerospace and Defence Industries Association of Europe - Standardization (ASD-STAN). After enquiries and votes carried out in accordance with the rules of this Association, this Standard has received the approval of the National Associations and the Official Services of the member countries of ASD, prior to its presentation to CEN. This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by February 2008, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at the latest by February 2008.
