This European Standard specifies the characteristics of post installation flexible self-wrapping fire protection sleeves for electrical cable and cable bundles, providing 360° fire protection to electrical harnesses. The sleeve assembly gives fire resistance protection to the internal electrical harness against fire for five minutes, and ensures that the electrical characteristics of cables will not be degraded.

Diese Europäische Norm legt die Merkmale von nachträglich montierbaren, flexiblen, selbstverschließenden Brandschutzschläuchen für elektrische Leitungen und Leitungsbündel fest; die Kabelbäume sind damit über den gesamten Umfang brandgeschützt. Der Schlauchaufbau ermöglicht, dass der innere Kabelbaum fünf Minuten lang feuerbeständig ist und stellt sicher, dass sich die elektrischen Eigenschaften von Leitungen nicht verschlechtern.

La présente Norme européenne spécifie les caractéristiques des gaines de protection souples, auto-fermables et résistantes au feu post installation pour câbles et torons de câbles électriques, fournissant une protection contre le feu à 360° aux harnais électriques. Le montage de la gaine fournit une protection contre le feu au harnais électrique interne pendant cinq minutes et garantit que la non-dégradation des caractéristiques électriques des câbles.

Ta standard opredeljuje značilnosti zvijavih samoovojnih požarno zaščitnih obojk z možnostjo poznejše montaže za električne kable in snope kablov, ki zagotavlja 360° protipožarno zaščito električne napeljave. Sestav obojke zagotavlja zaščito, odporno proti požaru, za notranjo električno napeljavo proti požaru za pet minut, ter zagotavlja, da se električne značilnosti kablov ne poslabšajo.
