This European Standard specifies the requirements and test methods for multiwall system chimneys working under wet conditions (in the following expressed as "wet chimney") with pressure
type N1, N2 or P1 according to EN 1443 and a working temperature below or equal T600 according to prEN 13063-1, in which the products of combustion are conveyed to the atmosphere through clay/ceramic flue liners. Marking and inspection are also covered by this document.
This European Standard does not apply to structurally independent (free standing or self supporting) system chimneys.
The wet chimney may comprise the following appropriate components:
- clay/ceramic flue liners;
- insulation layer;
- outer walls;
- acid resistant mortar for jointing flue liners or elastomeric sealant;
- mortar for jointing outer walls;
- terminal;
- chimney base;
- condensate collector;
- condensate outlet;
- cladding;
- opening section;
- cleaning and inspection door;
- distance piece;
- reinforcement.
The wet system chimney covers a combination of compatible chimney components, obtained or specified from one manufacturing source with product responsibility for the whole system chimney.
NOTE This document does not cover soot fire resistance chimneys.

Diese Europäische Norm legt die Anforderungen und Prüfungen für mehrschalige System-Abgasanlagen fest, die für feuchte Betriebsweise (im folgenden als "Abgasanlage mit feuchter Betriebsweise" bezeichnet), die Druckklasse N 1, N 2 oder P1 nach EN 1443 und für eine Temperaturklasse kleiner oder gleich T 600 nach prEN 13063-1vorgesehen sind und in denen die Verbrennungsprodukte über Keramik-Innenrohre an die Außenluft abgeleitet werden. Diese Norm beinhaltet auch Festlegungen für Kennzeichnung und Inspektion.
Die Norm gilt nicht für konstruktionsmäßig unabhängige (freistehend oder selbsttragend) System-Abgasanlagen.
Die System-Abgasanlage darf aus folgenden zweckdienlichen Bauteilen bestehen:

Dämmschicht
Außenschalen
Säurebeständiger Mörtel für das Verfugen der Innenrohre oder Elastomer-Dichtstoffe
Mörtel für das Verfugen der Außenschalen

Die System-Abgasanlage für feuchte Betriebsweise setzt sich aus aufeinander abgestimmten Komponenten zusammen, die aus einer Produktion stammen oder von dieser Stelle bestimmt werden, wobei diese Stelle für das gesamte Produkt dieser System-Abgasanlage verantwortlich ist.

Dieses Dokument legt die Anforderungen und Prüfungen für mehrschalige System-Abgasanlagen fest, die für feuchte Betriebsweise (im Folgenden als "Abgasanlage mit feuchter Betriebsweise" bezeichnet), die Druckklasse N 1, N 2 oder P1 nach EN 1443 und für eine Betriebstemperatur kleiner oder gleich T 600 nach prEN 13063-1 vorgesehen sind und in denen die Verbrennungsprodukte über Keramikinnenrohre an die Außenluft abgeleitet werden. Die System-Abgasanlage für feuchte Betriebsweise setzt sich aus aufeinander abgestimmten Komponenten zusammen, die aus einer Produktion stammen oder von dieser Stelle bestimmt werden, wobei diese Stelle für das gesamte Produkt dieser System-Abgasanlage verantwortlich ist.
ANMERKUNG Dieses Dokument gilt nicht für rußbrandbeständige Abgasanlagen.
