(Main)Aerospace series - Testing of aircraft wiring
Aerospace series - Testing of aircraft wiring
This European Standard specifies:
- the tests for finished wiring, including connectors and, if necessary, terminals, terminal ends, junction boxes, circuit breakers, etc.;
- these tests do not concern equipment installed in the aircraft (see operation of systems and do not apply to the wiring used instrumentation;
- the requirements for verification of aircraft electrical wiring;
- continuity of circuits;
- dielectric strength;
- insulation resistance.
Luft- und Raumfahrt - Prüfung der Verkabelung von Luftfahrzeugen
Diese Europäische Norm legt Folgendes fest:
- die Prüfungen, die an fertigen Verkabelungen mit ihren Steckverbindern und gegebenenfalls Anschluss-stücken, Kabelschuhen, Verteilerkästen, Schutzschaltern usw. durchzuführen sind;
- diese Prüfungen gelten nicht für die im Luftfahrzeug eingebauten Geräte (siehe Betrieb der Systeme), und sind nicht anwendbar für die Verkabelung von Messtechnik;
- die Anforderungen zur Prüfung der elektrischen Verkabelung von Luftfahrzeugen;
- Stromdurchgang;
- Spannungsfestigkeit;
- Isolationswiderstand.
Série aérospatiale - Vérification des câblages d'aéronefs
Aeronavtika - Preskušanje ožičenja pri zrakoplovih
Ta standard določa:
a) preskuse za končno ožičenje, vključno s konektorji in po potrebi terminali, konci terminalov, priključnicami, prekinjevalci toka itd.;
b) ti preskusi ne obravnavajo opreme, vgrajene v zrakoplov (glej obratovanje sistemov) in ne veljajo za instrumente, uporabljene pri ožičenju;
c) zahteve za preverjanje električnega ožičenja zrakopolova:
1) neprekinjenost tokokrogov;
2) jakost napetosti;
3) odpornost izolacije.

Introduction
Due to the diversity of aircraft, manufacturing and installing methods for wiring, the tests defined in Clause 1
are carried out at different stages in the manufacturing programme:
after assembly of cables into bundles before installation in the aircraft;
after installation of bundles into the aircraft;
after repairs or modifications.

boxes, circuit breakers, etc.;
these tests do not concern equipment installed in the aircraft (see operation of systems and do not apply
to the wiring used instrumentation;
the requirements for verification of aircraft electrical wiring;
continuity of circuits;
dielectric strength;
insulation resistance.
