This document specifies the required characteristics of a semi rigid coaxial cable, 50 Ω, type WD, for use in aircraft electrical systems at operating temperature between –55 °C and 200 °C and specially for high frequency up to 6 GHz. Nevertheless, if needed, −65 °C is also acceptable as shown by thermal stability test.

Le présent document spécifie les caractéristiques requises d’un câble coaxial semi-rigide 50 Ω, de type WD, pour utilisation dans les systèmes électriques d’aéronefs à des températures de fonctionnement comprises entre –55 °C et 200 °C, et notamment à haute fréquence jusqu’à 6 GHz. Néanmoins, si nécessaire, −65 °C est également acceptable comme indiqué par l’essai de vieillissement à la chaleur.
