Resilient floor coverings - Polyvinyl chloride floor coverings with foam layer - Specification

This European Standard specifies the characteristics of floor coverings based on polyvinyl chloride with polyvinyl chloride foam layer, supplied in either tile or roll form.
To encourage the consumer to make an informed choice, the standard includes a classification system (see EN 685) based on intensity of use, which shows where these floor coverings should give satisfactory service. It also specifies requirements for marking.

Diese Europäische Norm legt die Eigenschaften von Bodenbelägen aus Polyvinylchlorid mit einer Schaumstoffschicht aus Polyvinylchlorid fest, die sowohl in Form von Platten als auch als Rollen geliefert werden. Um den Verbraucher bei seiner Auswahl zu unterstützen, enthält diese Norm ein Klassifizierungssystem (siehe EN 685) auf Basis der Nutzungsintensität, das zeigt, wo für diese Bodenbeläge ein zufriedenstellender Nutzen möglich wäre. Die Norm legt auch die Anforderungen zur Kennzeichnung fest.

La présente Norme européenne prescrit les caractéristiques des revêtements de sol à base de polychlorure
de vinyle sur mousse, sous forme de dalles ou de rouleaux.
Pour aider le consommateur à faire son choix, la présente norme inclut un système de classification (voir
l’EN 685) basé sur l'intensité d'utilisation, indiquant l'endroit où le revêtement de sol rendrait un service
satisfaisant. Elle prescrit également des exigences relatives au marquage.

Ta evropski standard določa značilnosti polivinilkloridnih talnih oblog s penasto plastjo, temelječih na polivinilkloridu in njegovih modifikacijah, dostavljenih v obliki plošč ali zvitka.
Da bi ta evropski standard potrošnike spodbujal k sprejemanju utemeljenih odločitev, vsebuje klasifikacijski sistem (glej EN 685), temelječ na intenzivnosti uporabe, ki kaže, kje bi se te talne obloge lahko zadovoljivo uporabljale. Določa tudi zahteve za označevanje.

1 Scope
