This European Standard defines the characteristics of hermetic jam-nut mounted receptacles in the family of bayonet coupling circular connectors, intended for use in an operating temperature range of - 65 °C to 175 °C or 200 °C continuous.
It applies to models defined in Table 4.
For plugs and protective covers, see EN 3646-008 and EN 3646-009 respectively.

Diese Europäische Norm legt die Eigenschaften von hermetischen festen Steckverbindern mit Mutternbe-festigung aus der Familie der Rundsteckverbinder mit Bajonettkupplung fest, die für den Einsatz im Betriebstemperaturbereich von −65 °C bis 175 °C oder 200 °C konstant vorgesehen sind.
Sie gilt für die in Tabelle 4 festgelegten Bauformen.

La présente Norme européenne définit les caractéristiques des embases hermétiques à fixation par écrou de la famille des connecteurs circulaires à accouplement par baïonnettes destinés à être utilisés dans une plage de température de - 65 °C à 175 °C ou 200 °C continu.
Elle s'applique aux modèles définis dans le Tableau 4.

Ta evropski standard določa lastnosti hermetične podloge, pritrjene z matico, v družini okroglih bajonetno sklopljenih konektorjev, namenjenih uporabi pri obratovalni temperaturi od –65 °C do 175 °C ali stalni obratovalni temperaturi 200 °C.
Uporablja se za modele iz preglednice 4.
Za čepe in zaščitna prekrivala glej ustrezna standarda EN 3646-008 in EN 3646-009.
