This European Standard contains the initial, start of life dimensional, optical, mechanical and environmental performance requirements which a connector terminated with cylindrical zirconia PC ferrule and assembled singlemode resilient alignment sleeve LSH-PC simplex connector set (plug/adaptor/plug), adaptor and patchcord must meet in order for it to be categorised as an EN standard product.

La présente Norme Européenne donne les exigences de performances initiales, dimensionnelles en début de vie, optiques, mécaniques et environnementales auxquelles un connecteur équipé d’une férule en zircone cylindrique PC et un jeu de connecteurs simplex de type LSH-PC à manchon d'alignement élastique unimodaux équipés et assemblés (fiche/raccord/fiche), un raccord et un cordon de brassage doivent satisfaire afin d'être classés comme entrant dans une norme EN de produit.
