Automatic electrical controls for household and similar use - Part 2-15: Particular requirements for automatic electrical air flow, water flow and water level sensing controls
This part of IEC 60730 applies to automatic electrical air flow, water flow and water level sensing controls for use in, or in association with, boilers with a maximum pressure rating of 2 000 kPA (20 bar) and equipment for general household and similar use including controls for heating, air- conditioning and similar applications. This second edition cancels and replaces the first edition published in 1994 and its Amendment 1 (1997), the first edition of IEC 60730-2-16 published in 1995 and its Amendments 1 (1997) and 2 (2001) and the first edition of IEC 60730-2-18 published in 1997. This second edition constitutes a technical revision. This second edition is a consolidation of three standards IEC 60725-2-15, IEC 60730-2-16 and IEC 60730-2-18. The title and scope were revised to reflect the additional topics covered by the standard.

La présente partie de la CEI 60730 s'applique aux dispositifs de commande électrique automatiques détecteurs de débit d'air, de débit d'eau et de niveau d'eau utilisés dans, ou en association avec, les chaudières de pression nominale maximale de 2 000 kPa (20 bar) et les matériels à usage domestique et analogue, y compris les dispositifs de commande pour le chauffage, le conditionnement d'air et les applications analogues. Cette deuxième édition annule et remplace la première édition publiée en 1994 et son Amendement 1 (1997), la première édition de la CEI 60730-2-16 publiée en 1995 et ses Amendements 1 (1997) et 2 (2001) ainsi que la première édition de la CEI 60730-2-18 publiée en 1997. Cette deuxième édition constitue une révision technique. Cette deuxième édition est une consolidation des trois normes CEI 60725-2-15, CEI 60730-2-16 et CEI 60730-2-18. Le titre et le domaine d'application ont été révisés pour refléter les thèmes additionnels couverts par la norme.

FOREWORD
1) The International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) is a worldwide organization for standardization comprising
all national electrotechnical committees (IEC National Committees). The object of IEC is to promote
international co-operation on all questions concerning standardization in the electrical and electronic fields. To
this end and in addition to other activities, IEC publishes International Standards, Technical Specifications,
Technical Reports, Publicly Available Specifications (PAS) and Guides (hereafter referred to as “IEC
Publication(s)”). Their preparation is entrusted to technical committees; any IEC National Committee interested
in the subject dealt with may participate in this preparatory work. International, governmental and non-
governmental organizations liaising with the IEC also participate in this preparation. IEC collaborates closely
