TECHNICAL CORRIGENDUM 3
1) Subclause 3.7.8
Relabel the current Note in 3.7.8 as "Note 1".
Add a new Note to 3.7.8 as follows:
NOTE 2 – The effective SizeConstraint is used only to determine the encoding of lengths (and not to determine the set of abstract
values).
2) Subclause 3.7.9
Relabel the current Note in 3.7.9 as "Note 1".
Add a new Note to 3.7.9 as follows:
NOTE 2 – The effective PermittedAlphabet constraint is used only to determine the encoding of characters (and not to describe the
set of abstract values).
3) Subclause 3.7.11
Add a Note to 3.7.11 as follows:
NOTE – In 9.6, the extensibility bit will be set to 1 if the value to be encoded is not in the extension root of the constructed or
constrained type as it is defined in the ASN.1 specification, without considering the possible effective constraints associated to the
type.
4) Subclause 9.3.9
Replace 9.3.9 with the following:
9.3.9 PermittedAlphabet constraints on known-multiplier character string types, which are not extensible after
application of 47.3 to 47.5 of ITU-T Rec. X.680 | ISO/IEC 8824-1, are PER-visible.

CORRIGENDUM TECHNIQUE 3
1) Paragraphe 3.7.8
La Note actuelle du § 3.7.8 devient la "Note 1".
Au § 3.7.8, ajouter la nouvelle Note suivante:
NOTE 2 – La contrainte effective de taille sert uniquement à déterminer le codage des longueurs (et non pas
l'ensemble des valeurs abstraites).
2) Paragraphe 3.7.9
La Note actuelle du § 3.7.9 devient la "Note 1"
Au § 3.7.9, ajouter la nouvelle Note suivante:
NOTE 2 – La contrainte effective d'alphabet permis sert uniquement à déterminer le codage des caractères (et non à
décrire l'ensemble des valeurs abstraites).
3) Paragraphe 3.7.11
Au § 3.7.11, ajouter la Note suivante:
NOTE – Au § 9.6, le bit d'extensibilité sera mis à 1 si la valeur à coder n'est pas dans la racine d'extension du type
construit ou contraint tel qu'il est défini dans la spécification ASN.1, sans qu'il soit tenu compte des contraintes
effectives possibles associées au type.
4) Paragraphe 9.3.9
Remplacer le texte du § 9.3.9 par le suivant:
9.3.9 Les contraintes d'alphabet permis sur des types chaîne de caractères à multiplicateur connu qui ne sont pas
extensibles après l'application des § 47.3 à 47.5 de la Rec. UIT-T X.680  ISO/CEI 8824-1, sont visibles par les règles
PER.
5) Nouveau paragraphe 9.3.13 bis
Ajouter le nouveau § 9.3.13 bis suivant:
