Foreword
ISO (the International Organization for Standardization) is a worldwide
federation of national standards bodies (ISO member bodies). The work of
preparing International Standards is normally carried out through ISO
technical committees. Each member body interested in a subject for which
a technical committee has been established has the right to be represented
on that committee. International organizations, governmental and non-
governmental, in liaison with ISO, also take part in the work. ISO

Draft International Standards adopted by the technical committees are

ISO/TC 87, Cork.
This third edition cancels and replaces the second edition (ISO 2190:1988),
which has been technically revised.

1 Scope
This International Standard specifies the reference method for determination of the moisture content of granulated
cork.
NOTE For the purposes of factory control, the manufacturer may choose another test method and/or different equipment.
In this case, the co-relation between that method (current method) and the reference method should be established.
2 Normative reference
The following standard contains provisions which, through reference in this text, constitute provisions of this
International Standard. At the time of publication, the edition indicated was valid. All standards are subject to
revision, and parties to agreements based on this International Standard are encouraged to investigate the
possibility of applying the most recent edition of the standard indicated below. Members of IEC and ISO maintain

1 Domaine d’application
La présente Norme internationale spécifie la méthode de référence pour la determination de l’humidité des granulés
crus de liège.
NOTE Pour les besoins du contrôle de production en usine, le fabricant peut choisir une autre méthode et/ou un
appareillage différent. Dans ce cas, il doit établir la corrélation entre cette méthode (méthode courante) et la méthode de
référence.
2 Référence normative
La norme suivante contient des dispositions qui, par suite de la référence qui en est faite, constituent des
dispositions valables pour la présente Norme internationale. Au moment de la publication, l’édition indiquée était en
vigueur. Toute norme est sujette à révision et les parties prenantes des accords fondés sur la présente Norme
