Unplasticized polyvinyl chloride (PVC) injection-moulded solvent-welded socket fittings for use with pressure pipe — Hydraulic internal pressure test
Specifies a test for checking the resistance of such fittings to internal pressure in a solvent welded test assembly. This is subjected to an internal pressure of 4.2 times the nominal pressure for 60 minutes. No deterioration, leakage or fracture shall occur.
