This International Standard specifies the characteristics of slotted pan head screws of product grade A and with thread sizes M 1,6 to M 10 inclusive. If other specifications are required, they should be selected from existing International Standards, for example ISO 262, ISO 888, ISO 898-1, ISO 965-2, ISO 3506.

Diese Norm enthält Festlegungen über Flachkopfschrauben mit Schlitz, in Produktklasse A, mit Gewinde von M 1,6 bis M 10. Werden in besonderen Fällen andere Festlegungen als die in der vorliegenden Internationalen Norm benötigt, so sind diese den bestehenden Internationalen Normen zu entnehmen, z. B. ISO 262, ISO 888, ISO 898-1, ISO 965-2, ISO 3506.

Foreword
IS0 (the International Organization for Standardization) is a worldwide

1 Scope
This International Standard specifies the characteristics of slotted pan head screws of product grade A and with
threads from Ml ,6 to Ml 0 inclusive.
If, in special cases, specifications other than those listed in this International Standard are required, they should
be selected from existing International Standards, for example IS0 261, IS0 888, IS0 898-1, IS0 965-2 and
IS0 3506.
