This part of ISO 15245 specifies definitions, dimensions and tolerances of parallel screw threads of nominal diameter 30 mm (designated 30P), 25 mm (designated 25P) and 18 mm (designated 18P), for the connection of valves to medical and industrial gas cylinders. This part of ISO 15245 does not cover the connection requirements for:
- mechanical strength;
- gas tightness;
- capability of repeated assembly and dismounting operations.

La présente partie de l'ISO 15245 ne comporte pas d'exigences de raccordement pour : - la résistance mécanique; - l'étanchéité au gaz; - la capacité à répéter les opérations de montage et de démontage.

Ta del standarda ISO 15245 ne določa zahtev za priključitev za:

This document (EN ISO 15245-1:2001) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC
58 "Gas cylinders" in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 23 "Transportable gas
cylinders", the secretariat of which is held by BSI.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication
of an identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by April 2002, and conflicting national
standards shall be withdrawn at the latest by April 2002.
According to the CEN/CENELEC Internal Regulations, the national standards organizations of
the following countries are bound to implement this European Standard: Austria, Belgium,
Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Italy,
Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United
