Road marking materials - Premix glass beads

This European standard specifies the requirements for laboratory tests (Product control) and qualification procedures for the following material used in road marking materials. The requirements taken into consideration in this standard are: - granulometry; -refractive index of the glass; - chemical resis- tance; - quality; - surface treatments. This standard does not cover the glass beads used as a filler in the marking products.

Diese Europäische Norm legt die Anforderungen an Labroprüfungen (Produkt- kontrolle) und Eignungsverfahren für Premixglasperlen fest, die in Straßen- markierungsmaterialien verwendet werden. Die in dieser Norm in Betracht gezoge- nen Anforderungen sind: - Korngrösse - Brechungsindex des Glases - Chemische Beständigkeit - Qualität - Oberflächenbehandlungen. Diese Europäische Norm schließt nicht die Glasperlen ein, die als Füllstoff in den Markierungsproduk-ten verwendet werden.

La présente norme européenne spécifie les exigences requises pour les essais en laboratoire (contrôle du production) et les procédures de qualification des microbilles de verre de prémélange utilisées dans les produits de marquage rou- tier. Les prescriptions formulées dans la présente norme concernent: - granula- rité, - indice de réfraction du verre, - résistance chimique, -exigence de qualité, - traitements de surface. La présente norme ne couvre pas les microbilles deverre utilisées comme charge de remplissage dans les produits de marquage.
