Les responsabilités du Comité permanent du Conseil sur la surveillance sont les suivantes: Examiner sur une base régulière la structure de gouvernance, les politiques, les procédures et les processus de l’ISO, pour s’assurer que ceux-ci reflètent les meilleures pratiques du point de vue juridique, éthique et organisationnel Procéder à un examen périodique de la pertinence de la mise en œuvre des politiques, des procédures et des processus de l’ISO Évaluer périodiquement les performances du Conseil en tant qu’organe, y compris juger, s’il y a lieu, les performances de certains représentants de membres du Conseil Élaborer et tenir à jour un code de conduite à suivre par les Dirigeants de l’ISO, les représentants des membres du Conseil, le Secrétaire général, les cadres dirigeants et les autres employés du Secrétariat central (Annexe au Paragraphe 12 des Règles de procédure) Examiner périodiquement la conduite du Secrétaire général, des cadres dirigeants et des autres employés du Secrétariat central dans l’optique du Code de conduite de l’Organisation Accepter et examiner les problèmes signalés à titre confidentiel par le personnel du Secrétariat central de l’ISO concernant des allégations d'irrégularités Veiller à ce que les allégations d’irrégularités (fraude, gaspillage, abus d’autorité ou autres manquements) soulevées par des employés du Secrétariat central ou d’autres parties soient correctement étudiées et résolues.
