This document specifies a method for determining the water-vapour transmission properties of
coatings of paints, varnishes and related products.
It supplements ISO 12572. As far as possible, the procedure, the definitions and the calculations
have been taken over from ISO 12572. ISO 12572 can be consulted, if necessary, to obtain a better
understanding of the procedure specified in this document.
Water-vapour transmission rates of more than 680 g/(m2⋅d) (i.e. water-vapour diffusion-equivalent air
layer thicknesses, sd, of less than 0,03 m) are not accurately quantified by the test method described in
this document.

This European Standard defines the test method to be used to determine the watertightness of completely assembled windows and doorsets of any materials. This test method is designed to take account of conditions in use, when the window or doorset is installed in accordance with the manufacturer’s specification and the requirements of relevant European Standards and codes of practice.
This European Standard does not apply to the joints between the window or doorset frame and the building construction.

These procedures are valid for design ambient temperatures between 30 °C and 60 °C. This International Standard provides conversion coefficients for temperature and for moisture. These coefficients are valid for mean temperatures between 0 °C and 30 °C. This International Standard also provides design data in tabular form for use in heat and moisture transfer calculations, for thermally homogeneous materials and products commonly used in building construction.

This European Standard specifies a method for determining the liquid water permeability of coatings, coating systems and related products, intended for exterior masonry and classification according to EN 1062-1.
The method is applicable to coatings and coating systems on porous substrates such as brick, concrete and renderings.
A liquid water permeability w of more than 0,5 kg/(m² x h0,5) will not be accurately quantified by the test method described in this standard.

This European Standard applies to wastewater drainage systems, which operate under gravity. It is applicable for drainage systems inside dwellings and commercial, institutional and industrial buildings. This third part of this European Standard describes a method of calculating the hydraulic adequacy of non-siphonic roof drainage systems and gives performance requirements for siphonic roof drainage systems. It also sets standards for the layout and installation of roof drainage insofar as they affect flow capacity.

This standards defines the classification of test results for completely assembled windows and doors of any after testing in accordance with prEN 1027 "Windows and doors - Watertightness - Test method".
