Standard Specification for Strontium Chromate Pigment

ABSTRACT
This specification covers strontium chromate pigment for use in the manufacture of protective or decorative coatings. The pigment shall be commercially pure strontium chromate and free from extenders and organic materials. Mass color, tint character, and tinting strength shall be within the limits of the standard. The pigment shall be tested for chemical analysis and water content.
SCOPE
1.1 This specification covers the pigment commercially known as strontium chromate which is suitable for use in the manufacture of protective or decorative coatings.
1.2 The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as the standard. The values given in parentheses are for information only.
