Standard Guide for Inspection of Amusement Rides and Devices
SIGNIFICANCE AND USE
The purpose of this guide is to delineate information and recommend inspections for amusement rides and devices.
Inspection within the context of this guide is to determine conformance with applicable ASTM Committee F24 standards.
SCOPE
1.1 This guide covers the inspections of amusement rides and devices during prototype development, production manufacturing, installation or erection, following major modification or overhaul, and during operation and maintenance periods. Note 1 For information related to this guide, see Specification F 698, Terminology F 747, and Guide F 846.
