Personal protective equipment - Footwear - Test method for slip resistance (ISO 13287:2006)

ISO 13287:2006 specifies a method of test for the slip resistance of conventionally soled safety, protective and occupational footwear.
ISO 13287:2006 is not applicable to special purpose footwear containing spikes, metal studs or similar.

Foreword



The text of ISO 13287:2006 has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 94 "Personal safety -
Protective clothing and equipment” of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and has
been taken over as EN ISO 13287:2007 by Technical Committee CEN/TC 161 "Foot and leg
protectors", the secretariat of which is held by BSI.

This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an
identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by April 2008, and conflicting national standards shall be
withdrawn at the latest by April 2008.

This document supersedes EN 13287:2004.

This document has been prepared under a mandate given to CEN by the European Commission and
the European Free Trade Association, and supports essential requirements of EU Directive(s).

For relationship with EU Directive(s), see informative Annex ZA, which is an integral part of this
document.

According to the CEN/CENELEC Internal Regulations, the national standards organizations of the
