Diese Internationale Norm legt die Eigenschaften von Flachkopfschrauben mit Innensechsrund, mit Gewinde von M2 bis M10, mit Produktklasse A fest.
Werden in besonderen Fällen andere als in dieser Internationalen Norm aufgeführte Festlegungen benötigt, sollten diese aus bestehenden Internationalen Normen wie zum Beispiel ISO 261, ISO 888, ISO 898-1, ISO 965-2, ISO 3506-1 und ISO 4759-1 ausgewählt werden.

La présente Norme internationale spécifie les caractéristiques des vis à métaux à tête cylindrique bombée large à six lobes internes, de filetage M2 à M10 inclus et de grade A.  Si, dans des cas particuliers, des spécifications autres que celles figurant dans la présente Norme internationale sont requises, il est recommandé de les choisir dans les Normes internationales existantes, par exemple ISO 261, ISO 888, ISO 898-1, ISO 965-2, ISO 3506-1 et ISO 4759-1.

This document (ISO 14583:2001) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 2
"Fasteners" in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 185 "Threaded and non-
threaded mechanical fasteners and accessories", the secretariat of which is held by DIN.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of
an identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by March 2002, and conflicting national
standards shall be withdrawn at the latest by March 2002.
According to the CEN/CENELEC Internal Regulations, the national standards organizations of
the following countries are bound to implement this European Standard: Austria, Belgium, Czech
Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg,
