ISO 13351:2009 specifies the dimensions of the circular and rectangular flanges of general‑purpose fans, as well as the fan size designations. It is not applicable to cross‑flow fans or to fan appliances used for individual household or similar applications.

L'ISO 13351:2009 spécifie les dimensions des brides circulaires et des brides rectangulaires pour les ventilateurs à usage courant, ainsi que les désignations de la taille des ventilateurs. Elle ne s'applique pas aux ventilateurs tangentiels, ni aux dispositifs de ventilation utilisés pour des applications domestiques individuelles ou similaires.

Industrijski ventilatorji - Mere (ISO 13351:2009)

Ta mednarodni standard določa dimenzije okroglih in kvadratnih prirobnic na ventilatorjih za splošno uporabo, kot tudi oznake velikosti ventilatorja. Ne uporablja se za radialne (cross-flow) ventilatorje ali za ventilacijske naprave, ki se uporabljajo v gospodinjstvu oziroma za podobno uporabo. Za okrogle prirobnice podaja navodila za tri različne serije prirobnic: ene za lahko debelino ohišja, druge za srednje močne ventilatorje in tretje za najmočnejše ventilatorje, ki se uporabljajo na morskih plovilih ali v težki industriji. Da ne bi neupravičeno omejili zasnovo ventilatorja, so določeni le srednji premer, številke lukenj in premeri lukenj. Debelino prirobnice, kot tudi notranje in zunanje premere prirobnice je mogoče prosto izbrati v okviru omejitev dobre inženirske prakse.

This document (EN ISO 13351:2009) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 117 “Fans" in
collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 156 “Ventilation for buildings” the secretariat of which is held
by BSI.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical
text or by endorsement, at the latest by May 2010, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at the
latest by May 2010.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of patent
rights. CEN [and/or CENELEC] shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights.
This document supersedes EN ISO 13351:2008.
