Diese Internationale Norm beschreibt die Eigenschaften von Sechskantmuttern mit Klemmteil (Ganzmetallmuttern) Type 2, mit metrischem Feingewinde mit Gewinde-Nenndurchmessern d von 8 mm bis 36 mm, in Produktklasse A für Größen d bis 16 mm und Produktklasse B für Größen d über 16 mm und mit Festigkeitsklassen 8, 10 und 12. ANMERKUNG: Die Maße der Muttern entsprechen den in ISO 8674 angegebenen Maßen, mit Ausnahme der Maße mw und hmax.

La présente Norme internationale prescrit les caractéristiques des écrous hexagonaux autofreinés tout métal, style 2, à filetage métrique à pas fin, de diamètre nominal de filetage d de 8 mm à 36 mm inclus, de grade A pour les diamètres d < 16 mm et de grade B pour les diamètres d > 16 mm, et de classes de qualité 8, 10 et 12.
NOTE -- Les dimensions des écrous, à l'exception des dimensions mw et hmax′ sont conformes à celles données dans l'ISO 8674. Si d'autres spécifications sont requises, il est recommandé de les choisir dans les Normes internationales existantes, par exemple ISO 261, ISO 965-2, ISO 2320 et ISO 4759-1.

1 Scope
This International Standard specifies the characteristics of prevailing torque type all-metal hexagon nuts, of
style 2, with metric fine pitch thread, with nominal thread diameters d from 8 mm up to and including 36 mm,
in product grade A for sizes d up to and including 16 mm and product grade B for sizes d above 16 mm, and
with property classes 8, 10 and 12.
NOTE — The dimensions of the nuts with the exception of the dimensions m and h correspond to those
w max
given in ISO 8674.
If other specifications are required, they should be selected from existing International Standards, for example
ISO 261, ISO 965-2, ISO 2320 and ISO 4759-1.
