- transfert des articles spécifiques au langage EDDL dans la CEI 61804-3;

ISO/IEC 7813:1995(E) Foreword IS0 (the International Organization for Standardization) and IEC (the International Electrotechnical Commission) form the specialized system for worldwide standardization. National bodies that are members of IS0 or IEC participate in the development of International Standards through technical committees established by the respective organization to deal with particular fields of technical activity. IS0 and IEC technical com- mittees collaborate in fields of mutual interest. Other international organ- izations, governmental and non-governmental, in liaison with IS0 and IEC, also take part in the work. In the field of information technology, IS0 and IEC have established a joint technical committee, lSO/IEC JTC 1. Draft international Standards adopted by the joint technical committee are circulated to the member bodies for voting. Publication as an International Standard requires approval by at least 75 % of the national bodies casting a vote. International Standard lSO/IEC 7813 was prepared by Joint Technical Committee lSO/IEC JTC 1, Information technology, Subcommittee SC 17, /den tifica tion cards and related devices. This fourth edition cancels and replaces the third edition (lSO/IEC 7813:1990), of which it constitutes a technical revision. 0 lSO/IEC 1995 All rights reserved. INTERNATIONAL STANDARD o lSO/IEC ISO/IEC 7813:1995(E) Identification cards - Financial transaction cards 1 Scope This International Standard specifies the requirements for cards used in financial transactions. It takes into consideration both human and machine aspects and states minimum requirements of conformity. It contains iayout, recording techniques, numbering systems, registration procedures, but not security requirements. lSO/IEC 10373 specifies the test procedures used to check cards against the parameters specified in this International Standard. This International Standard specifies the requirements for cards used for identification. It takes into consideration both human and machine aspects and states minimum requirements. NOTE - Numeric values in the SI and/or Imperial measure- ment system in this International Standard may have been rounded off and therefore are consistent with, but not exactly equal to, each other. Either system may be used, but the two should not be intermixed or reconverted. The original design was made using the Imperial measurement system. lSO/IEC 7816-2, and lSO/IEC 7816-3 as specified in clauses 5 to 9. 3 Normative references The following standards contain provisions which, through reference in this text, constitute provisions of this International Standard. At the time of publication, the editions indicated were valid. All standards are subject to revision, and parties to agreements based on this International Standard are encouraged to investigate the possibility of applying the most recent editions of the standards indicated below. Members of IEC and IS0 maintain registers of currently valid International Standards. lSO/IEC 3166:1993, Codes for the representation of names of countries. lSO/IEC 4217:1990, Codes for the representation of currencies and funds. lSO/IEC 4909:1987, Bank cards - Magnetic stripe data content for track 3. lSO/IEC 7810:1995, Identification cards - Physical characteristics. 2 Conformance An identification card is in conformance with this International Standard if it meets all mandatory requirements specified herein. A prerequisite for conformance with this International Standard is conformance with lSO/l EC 7810, lSO/IEC 781 l-l, lSO/IEC 781 l-2, ISO/I EC 781 l-3, lSO/l EC 7811-4, lSO/IEC 781 l-5, lSO/IEC 7816-1, lSO/l EC 781 l-l : 1995, Identification cards - Record- ing technique - Part 7: Embossing. lSO/IEC 7811-2:1995, Identification cards - Record- ing technique - Part 2: Magnetic stripe.
