ISO 8765:2011 specifies the characteristics of hexagon head bolts with metric fine pitch thread with nominal thread diameters, d, from 8 mm to 64 mm, of product grade A for nominal thread diameters, d, from 8 mm to 24 mm and nominal lengths, l, up to and including 10d or 150 mm, whichever is the shorter, and of product grade B for nominal thread diameters, d, over 24 mm or nominal lengths, l, over 10d or 150 mm, whichever is the shorter.

Diese Internationale Norm legt Eigenschaften von Sechskantschrauben mit Schaft, mit metrischem
Feingewinde und Gewindenenndurchmessern d von 8 mm bis 64 mm mit der Produktklasse A für
Gewindenenndurchmesser d von 8 mm bis 24 mm und Nennlängen l ≤ 10 d oder 150 mm, wobei der kleinere
Zahlenwert gilt, und mit der Produktklasse B für Gewindenenndurchmesser d über 24 mm oder Nennlängen
l > 10 d oder 150 mm, wobei der kleinere Zahlenwert gilt, fest.
Falls in besonderen Fällen andere Festlegungen als die in dieser Internationalen Norm aufgeführten benötigt
werden, können diese den entsprechenden ISO-Normen entnommen werden, z. B. ISO 724, ISO 888,
ISO 898-1, ISO 965-1, ISO 3506-1, ISO 4753 und ISO 4759-1.
Schrauben mit Gewinde bis Kopf mit Regelgewinde nach ISO 4014 sollten bevorzugt werden.

Ta mednarodni standard določa značilnosti vijakov s šestrobo glavo z metrskim drobnim navojem z nominalnimi premeri navoja, d, od 8 mm do 64 mm razreda izdelave A za nominalne premere navoja, d, od 8 mm do 24 mm in nominalnimi dolžinami, l, do vključno 10 d ali 150 mm, kar je krajše, in razreda izdelave B za nominalne premere navoja, d, nad 24 mm ali nominalnih dolžin, l, nad 10 d ali 150 mm, kar je krajše. Če se v posebnih primerih zahtevajo specifikacije, ki so drugačne od navedenih v tem mednarodnem standardu, se lahko izberejo med obstoječimi mednarodnimi standardi, na primer ISO 724, ISO 888, ISO 898-1, ISO 965-1, ISO 3506-1, ISO 4753 in ISO 4759-1.
