Ventilation for buildings - Air terminal devices - Aerodynamic testing and rating for displacement flow applications

This European Standard specifies methods for the laboratory aerodynamic testing and rating of low velocity air terminal devices for displacement flow applications, including the specification of suitable test facilities and measurement techniques.
The standard gives only tests for the assessment of characteristics of the air terminal devices under non-isothermal conditions.
This standard applies to Class IV air terminal devices as defined in EN 12238.

Diese Europäische Norm legt Verfahren für die aerodynamische Laborprüfung und Bewertung von Niedergeschwindigkeit-Luftdurchlässen für Anwendung bei Verdrängungsströmung sowie geeignete Prüfeinrichtungen und Meßverfahren fest. Die Norm legt nur Prüfungen für die Einschätzung der Kenngrößen der Luftdurchlässe unter isothermen Bedingungen fest.

La présente Norme européenne spécifie les méthodes d'essais aérodynamiques et de caractérisation, en laboratoire, des bouches d'air à faibles vitesses utilisées dans des applications à déplacement d'air, y compris la spécification de dispositifs d'essai et de techniques de mesure appropriés.
La présente norme ne traite que des essais permettant d'évaluer les caractéristiques des bouches d'air dans des conditions non isothermes.
La présente norme s'applique aux bouches d'air de classe IV, telles que définies dans l'2238.
