Ta evropski standard podaja zahteve za načrtovanje, izdelavo, pregled, preskušanje in potrditev GRP rezervoarjev z ali brez termoplastične obloge, za shranjevanje ali obdelavo tekočin, tovarniško izdelanih ali zgrajenih na lokaciji, ki niso pod pritiskom oziroma so pod pritiskom do 10 barov, in so namenjeni nadzemni uporabi. Izraz rezervoarji, kot je uporabljen v tem evropskem standardu, zajema tudi veje do točke priključka na cevovod ali drugo opremo z vijaki in podporami, konzolami ali drugimi priključki, pritrjenimi neposredno na lupino. Poleg končnih zahteva, ta evropski standard prav tako zahteva, da so postavke iz točke 5 v celoti dokumentirane.
