Personal protective equipment - Footwear - Test method for slip resistance

This European Standard specifies a method of test for the slip resistance of conventionally soled safety, protective and occupational footwear. It is not applicable to special purpose footwear containing spikes, metal studs or similar.

Diese Europäische Norm legt ein Prüfverfahren für die Rutschhemmung von auf übliche Weise besohlten Sicherheits-, Schutz- und Berufsschuhen fest. Sie ist nicht anwendbar auf Schuhwerk für besondere Zwecke, das mit Spikes, Metallstegen oder Ähnlichem ausgestattet ist.

La présente Norme européenne spécifie une méthode d'essai permettant de déterminer la résistance au glissement des chaussures de sécurité, des chaussures de protection et des chaussures de travail à semelle classique. Elle ne s'applique pas aux chaussures destinées à un usage spécial pourvues de crampons, de rivets métalliques ou de pièces équivalentes.
