ISO 4028:2003 specifies the characteristics of hexagon socket set screws with dog point and threads from M1,6 up to and including M24 and of product grade A.

Diese Internationale Norm legt die Eigenschaften von Gewindestiften mit Innensechskant mit Zapfen mit Gewinde von M1,6 bis einschließlich M24 in Produktklasse A fest.
Werden in besonderen Fällen andere Festlegungen als die in der vorliegenden Internationalen Norm benötigt, so sollten diese den bestehenden Internationalen Normen entnommen werden, z. B. ISO 261, ISO 898-5, ISO 965-2, ISO 3506-3 und ISO 4759-1.

This document (EN ISO 4028:2003) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 2
"Fasteners" in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 185 "Threaded and non-
threaded mechanical fasteners and accessories", the secretariat of which is held by DIN.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of
an identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by June 2004, and conflicting national
standards shall be withdrawn at the latest by June 2004.
According to the CEN/CENELEC Internal Regulations, the national standards organizations of
the following countries are bound to implement this European Standard: Austria, Belgium, Czech
Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy,
Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and
the United Kingdom.
