Building hardware - Panic exit devices operated by a horizontal bar - Requirements and test methods

This European Standard specifies requirements for the manufacture, performance and testing of panic devices mechanically operated by either a horizontal push-bar or a horizontal touch-bar specifically designed for use in a panic situation. The standard does not provide for any particular design of panic devices but only such dimensions as are required to satisfy the safety requirements of the users.

Diese europäische Norm legt Anforderungen an Herstellung, Gebrauchstauglichkeit und Prüfung von Paniktürverschlüssen fest, mechanisch entweder über einen horizontalen Griffstange oder eine horizontale Druckstange betätigt werden und besonders für die Benutzung in Paniksituationen gebaut sind. Die vorliegende Norm legt keine besondere Bauform eines Paniktürverschlusses fest; es sind nur solche Maße festgelegt worden, die zur Erfüllung der wesentlichen Anforderungen der Bauprodukte-Richtlinie erforderlich sind.
