This document specifies test methods for the determination of geometrical characteristics of modular mechanical locked floor covering panels in respect of thickness, length, width, squareness, straightness, width flatness, length flatness, openings between assembled elements and height differences between assembled elements.
The geometrical characteristics of modular mechanical locked panels are important considerations because installed flooring will have an objectionable appearance if these performance criteria are not followed. This can cause the installed panels to line up unevenly, producing unsightly seams, uneven surfaces and corners that do not match.

Dieses Dokument legt Prüfverfahren zur Bestimmung geometrischer Eigenschaften von modularen mechanisch verriegelnden Fußbodenpaneelen in Bezug auf die Dicke, Länge, Breite, Rechtwinkligkeit, Geradheit, Ebenheit in der Breite, Ebenheit in der Länge, Fugenöffnungen zwischen montierten Elementen und Höhenunterschiede zwischen montierten Elementen fest.
Die geometrischen Eigenschaften von modularen mechanisch verriegelnden Fußbodenpaneelen sind wichtige Faktoren, da verlegter Bodenbelag ein störendes Erscheinungsbild haben kann, wenn diese Leistungskriterien nicht erfüllt werden. Le présent document spécifie les méthodes d'essai pour déterminer les caractéristiques géométriques des panneaux de revêtements de sol modulaires à verrouillage mécanique par rapport à l'épaisseur, la longueur, la largeur, l'équerrage, la rectitude, la planéité en largeur, la planéité en longueur et les ouvertures ainsi que les différences de hauteur entre les éléments assemblés.
Les caractéristiques géométriques des panneaux modulaires à verrouillage mécanique sont des facteurs importants à prendre en compte car il en va de la bonne apparence du sol installé si ces critères de performance ne sont pas respectés. Les panneaux installés peuvent, le cas échéant, être alignés de façon désordonnée, ce qui entraîne des raccords disgracieux, des surfaces irrégulières et des angles non concordants.
