Industrial valves - Valves for chemical and petrochemical process industry - Requirements and tests
This document applies to valves of DN 15 and larger, made of metallic materials for chemical and petrochemical plants. It contains additional requirements to those contained in the relevant European product standards (e.g. EN 593, EN 1349) and EN 16668.
The use of design codes or technical rules other than described by European product standards is subject to agreement with the purchaser.
Process control devices and safety accessories are not subject of this document.

Dieses Dokument ist anzuwenden für Armaturen ab DN 15 aus metallischen Werkstoffen für chemische und petrochemische Anlagen. Es enthält zusätzliche Anforderungen zu denen, die in den entsprechenden europäischen Produktnormen (z. B. EN 593, EN 1349) und EN 16668 enthaltenen sind.
Die Anwendung anderer Konstruktionsrichtlinien oder technischer Regeln als jenen, die in den europäischen Produktnormen beschrieben sind, ist mit dem Besteller zu vereinbaren.
PLT-Geräte und Ausrüstungsteile mit Sicherheitsfunktion sind nicht Gegenstand dieses Dokuments.

Le présent document s'applique aux appareils de robinetterie métalliques de DN 15 et plus, destinés aux usines chimiques et pétrochimiques. Il contient des prescriptions supplémentaires à celles fournies par les Normes européennes de produits pertinentes (par exemple l'EN 593, l'EN 1349) et l'EN 16668.
L'utilisation de codes de conception ou de règles techniques autres que ceux décrits par les normes européennes de produits est soumise à un accord avec l'acheteur.
Les dispositifs de régulation de processus et les accessoires de sécurité ne relèvent pas du domaine d'application du présent document.
