Biotechnology - Modified organisms for application in the environment - Guidance for the monitoring strategies for deliberate releases of genetically modified plants

This European Standard gives guidance on factors and criteria considered for the determination of the suitability and validity of the design, development and execution of a monitoring strategy for genetically modified plants. Monitoring encompasses detection of genes and traits, as well as the identification of genetically modified plants in an experimental release. This European Standard provides the person conducting a monitoring programme with factors and criteria that should be considered in determining the validity of the proposed monitoring strategy.

Biotechnik - Veränderte Organismen zum Einsatz in der Umwelt - Leitfaden für die Überwachungsstrategien bei der absichtlichen Freisetzung gentechnisch veränderter Pflanzen

Diese europäische Norm gibt eine Anleitung für Faktoren und Kriterien, die bei einer Ermittlung der Eignung und Validität der Planung, Entwicklung und Durchführung einer Überwachungsstrategie für gentechnisch veränderte Pflanzen berücksichtigt werden. Die Überwachung beinhaltet den Nachweis von Genen und Merkmalen wie auch die Identifizierung gentechnisch veränderter Pflanzen in einer experimentellen Freisetzung.

La présente norme européenne donne des indications relatives à une série de facteurs et de critères qui sont pris en considération pour la détermination de la conformité et de la validité de la conception, de la mise au point et de l'exécution d'une stratégie de surveillance s'appliquant aux plantes génétiquement modifiées. Cette surveillance inclut la détection des gènes et des caractères, ainsi que l'identification des plantes génétiquement modifiées dans une dissémination expérimentale.
