Plastics piping systems - Polyethylene (PE), crosslinked polyethylene (PE-X) and unplasticized polyamide (PA-U) pipes - Test method for the resistance to internal pressure after application of squeeze-off

This document specifies a method to determine the resistance to internal pressure of polyethylene (PE), crosslinked polyethylene (PE-X) and unplasticized (PA-U) pipes to verify the condition of the pipe after being subjected to a squeeze-off procedure.
The equipment and procedure used to prepare the test samples and test parameters are given in this document, i.e.:
a)   the diameter and series of the pipe to be tested (see 6.1);
b)   the number of test pieces (see 6.2);
c)   the parameters for the hydrostatic strength tests (see 7.6)
NOTE 1   Further information on the squeeze-off procedure is given in EN 12007-2 and ISO/TS 10839 for polyethylene, and CEN/TS 12007-6 for unplasticized polyamide.
NOTE 2   The squeeze-off procedure is specified to limit gas flow to allow maintenance, repair or to make network connections. Squeeze-off is used in an emergency for pipes carrying other media.

Dieses Dokument legt ein Verfahren zur Bestimmung des Widerstands gegen Innendruck von Rohren aus Polyethylen (PE), aus vernetztem Polyethylen (PE-X) und weichmacherfreiem Polyamid (PA-U) fest, um den Zustand des Rohres nach einem Abquetschverfahren zu überprüfen.
Die Einrichtung und das Verfahren zur Vorbereitung der Probekörper und Prüfparameter sind in diesem Dokument beschrieben, d. h.:
a)   der Durchmesser und die Rohrserie des zu prüfenden Rohres (siehe 6.1);
b)   die Anzahl der Probekörper (siehe 6.2);
c)   die Parameter für die Prüfungen der Zeitstand-Innendruckfestigkeit (siehe 7.6).
ANMERKUNG 1   Weitere Informationen zum Abquetschverfahren sind in EN 12007-2 und ISO/TS 10839 für Polyethylen und in CEN/TS 12007-6 für weichmacherfreies Polyamid angegeben.
ANMERKUNG 2   Das Abquetschverfahren ist festgelegt, um den Gasstrom zu begrenzen, um Wartungsarbeiten, Reparaturen oder Netzverbindungen zu ermöglichen. Bei Rohren, die andere Medien befördern, wird im Notfall eine Abquetschung vorgenommen.

Le présent document spécifie une méthode de détermination de résistance à la pression interne des tubes en polyéthylène (PE), en polyéthylène réticulé (PE-X) et en (PA-U) non plastifié afin de vérifier l'état du tube après avoir été soumis à un écrasement.
Le dispositif et le mode opératoire utilisés pour préparer les échantillons d'essai et les paramètres d'essai sont indiqués dans le présent document, c'est-à-dire :
a)   le diamètre et la série du tube à soumettre à essai (voir 6.1) ;
b)   le nombre d'éprouvettes (voir 6.2) ;
c)   les paramètres des essais de résistance hydrostatique (voir 7.6).
NOTE 1   Des informations complémentaires sur le mode opératoire d'écrasement sont données dans l'EN 12007‑2 et l'ISO/TS 10839 pour le polyéthylène, et dans le CEN/TS 12007‑6 pour le polyamide non plastifié.
NOTE 2   Le mode opératoire d'écrasement est spécifiée pour limiter le débit de gaz afin de permettre l'entretien, la réparation ou le raccordement au réseau. L'écrasement est utilisé en cas d'urgence pour les tubes transportant d'autres fluides.

1 Scope
This document specifies a method to determine the resistance to internal pressure of polyethylene (PE),
crosslinked polyethylene (PE-X) and unplasticized (PA-U) pipes to verify the condition of the pipe after
