Outdoor furniture - Seating and tables for camping, domestic and contract use - Part 3: Mechanical safety requirements and test methods for tables

This European Standard specifies the mechanical safety requirements and test methods for outdoor tables used by adults for camping, domestic and contract use without regard to materials, design/construction or manufacturing processes. This standard excludes tables using glass in their construction.
This document does not apply to outdoor furniture for severe contract use where higher requirements may be necessary, nor does it apply to street furniture and furniture permanently fixed to the ground/wall.
Annex A (informative) specifies guidelines for purchase information.
Information regarding ageing and degradation caused by light, temperature and moisture has not been included.

La présente Norme européenne prescrit les exigences et les essais de sécurité mécanique des tables d’extérieur pour adultes à usages domestique, collectif et de camping. Elle ne tient pas compte des matériaux, de la conception/construction ou des procédés de fabrication.
Le présent document ne s’applique pas au mobilier d’extérieur destiné à des usages collectifs à fortes contraintes et pouvant nécessiter des exigences plus strictes, ni au mobilier urbain et au mobilier fixé de façon permanente au sol ou au mur.
L’Annexe A (informative) spécifie les instructions générales pour les informations à l’achat.
Le document ne comprend pas d’informations sur le vieillissement et les détériorations dues à la lumière, la température et l’humidité.
