Foreword
IS0 (the International Organization for Standardization) is a worldwide federation of
national standards bodies (IS0 member bodies). The work of preparing International

1 Scope and field of application
This International Standard specifies the characteristics of light duty coiled spring-type straight pins with metric dimensions and
nominal diameters, d,, from 1,5 to 8 mm inclusive.
NOTE - Spring-type straight pins, coiled, standard duty, and spring-type straight pins, coiled, heavy duty are the subjects of IS0 8748 and IS0 8750
respectively.
