Ply type conveyor belts — Characteristics of construction

This second edition cancels and replaces the first edition (1975). Specifies the number and position of longitudinal and transverse joints. Is not applicable to belts with a metal carcase or to fire-retardant belts. Tabulates belt widths from 300 mm up to and including 3 200 mm.

La présente Norme internationale prescrit les principales caractéristiques de construction des courroies transporteuses à plis superposés. Elle prescrit le nombre et la position des joints longitudinaux ; le nombre et la position des joints transversaux. Par contre, elle ne prescrit pas la largeur des talons dont il a été décidé qu'elle ne ferait pas l'objet d'une Norme internationale. Elle n'est pas applicable aux courroies à carcasse métallique et aux courroies résistantes à la flamme.
