Tissue paper and tissue products — Part 6: Determination of grammage

ISO 12625-6:2005 specifies a test method for the determination of grammage of tissue paper and tissue products. Grammage may be measured by determining the mass of a test piece or test pieces of tissue paper or tissue products cut to specified dimensions, or by determining the mass and area of a specified number of units of finished tissue products.

Предисловие
Международная организация по стандартизации (ISO) является всемирной федерацией национальных
организаций по стандартизации (комитетов-членов ISO). Разработка международных стандартов
обычно осуществляется техническими комитетами ISO. Каждый комитет-член, заинтересованный в
деятельности, для которой был создан технический комитет, имеет право быть представленным в этом
комитете. Международные правительственные и неправительственные организации, имеющие связи с
ISO, также принимают участие в работах. Что касается стандартизации в области электротехники, ISO
работает в тесном сотрудничестве с Международной электротехнической комиссией (IEC).
Проекты международных стандартов разрабатываются по правилам, указанным в Директивах ISO/IEC, Часть 2.

Международный стандарт ISO 12625-6 был подготовлен Техническим комитетом CEN/TC 172,

Подкомитетом SC2, Методы испытания и требования к качеству продукции, Технического комитета
ISO/ТК 6, Бумага, картон и целлюлоза, в соответствии с Соглашением о техническом сотрудничестве
между ISO и СEN (Венское соглашение).
Настоящее первое издание отменяет и заменяет европейский стандарт EN 12625-6:1999, который был
пересмотрен в техническом отношении.
В отношении европейского стандарта EN 12625-6:1999 были введены следующие изменения:
a) было дано более точное описание приготовления образца для испытания, разрезание образца
для испытания, размеры и количество образцов для испытания;
b) было приведено более точное описание методики испытания;
c) было добавлено вычисление;
d) был добавлен Раздел 11 Точность;
е) были введены редакционные поправки.
ISO 12625 состоит из следующих частей под общим названием Тонкая бумага и изделия из нее:
— Часть 1. Общее руководство по терминам
— Часть 3. Определение толщины, объемной толщины и кажущейся объемной плотности
— Часть 4. Определение прочности на растяжение, растяжения при разрыве и поглощения
энергии при растяжении
— Часть 5. Определение прочности на растяжение во влажном состоянии
— Часть 6. Определение массы 1 кв. метра
— Часть 7. Определение оптических свойств
— Часть 8. Время водопоглощения и водопоглощающая способность, метод испытания
погружением корзины
— Часть 9. Определение прочности на разрыв под действием внутреннего давления шарика

1 Область применения
Настоящая часть международного стандарта ISO 12625 устанавливает метод определения массы 1 кв.
метра тонкой бумаги и изделий из нее. Эту массу можно измерять путем определения массы образца
для испытания или образцов для испытания тонкой бумаги или изделий из нее, разрезанных по
заданным размерам, или путем определения массы и площади заданного количества единиц готовых
изделий из тонкой бумаги.
Особо подчеркивается, что обнаружение примесей, включая нежелательные, в тонкой бумаге и
изделиях из нее должно проводиться в соответствии с ISO 15755.
Относительно определения влагосодержания в тонкой бумаге и изделиях из нее следует обращаться к
ISO 287.

Foreword
ISO (the International Organization for Standardization) is a worldwide federation of national standards bodies
(ISO member bodies). The work of preparing International Standards is normally carried out through ISO
technical committees. Each member body interested in a subject for which a technical committee has been
established has the right to be represented on that committee. International organizations, governmental and
non-governmental, in liaison with ISO, also take part in the work. ISO collaborates closely with the
International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) on all matters of electrotechnical standardization.
International Standards are drafted in accordance with the rules given in the ISO/IEC Directives, Part 2.
The main task of technical committees is to prepare International Standards. Draft International Standards
adopted by the technical committees are circulated to the member bodies for voting. Publication as an
International Standard requires approval by at least 75 % of the member bodies casting a vote.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of patent
rights. ISO shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights.
ISO 12625-6 was prepared by the European Committee for Standardization (CEN) Technical Committee
CEN/TC 172, Pulp, paper and board, in collaboration with Technical Committee ISO/TC 6, Paper, board and
pulps, Subcommittee SC 2, Test methods and quality specifications for paper and board, in accordance with
the Agreement on technical cooperation between ISO and CEN (Vienna Agreement).
This first edition cancels and replaces EN 12625-6:1999 which has been technically revised.
With regard to EN 12625-6:1999, the following changes have been made:
a) a more precise description of the preparation of the test piece, cutting of the test piece, dimensions and
number of the test pieces were given;
b) a more precise description of the test procedure was given;
c) a calculation was added;
d) Clause 11 Precision was added;
e) editorial updating.
ISO 12625 consists of the following parts, under the general title Tissue paper and tissue products:

1 Scope
This part of ISO 12625 specifies a test method for the determination of grammage of tissue paper and tissue
products. Grammage may be measured by determining the mass of a test piece or test pieces of tissue paper
or tissue products cut to specified dimensions, or by determining the mass and area of a specified number of
units of finished tissue products.
It is expressly stated that the detection of impurities and contraries in tissue paper and tissue products should
be applied according to ISO 15755.

L'ISO (Organisation internationale de normalisation) est une fédération mondiale d'organismes nationaux de
normalisation (comités membres de l'ISO). L'élaboration des Normes internationales est en général confiée
aux comités techniques de l'ISO. Chaque comité membre intéressé par une étude a le droit de faire partie du
comité technique créé à cet effet. Les organisations internationales, gouvernementales et non

Cette première édition de l’ISO 12625-6 annule et remplace l’EN 12625-6:1999, dont elle constitue une
révision technique.
Par rapport à l’EN 12625-6:1999, les modifications suivantes ont été apportées:
a) description plus précise de la préparation du découpage des éprouvettes et indication des dimensions et
du nombre des éprouvettes;
b) description plus précise du mode opératoire d’essai;
c) ajout d’un calcul;
d) ajout de l’Article 11 «Fidélité»;
e) mise à jour rédactionnelle.
L'ISO 12625 comprend les parties suivantes, présentées sous le titre général Papier tissue et produits tissues:
 Partie 1: Lignes directrices générales relatives aux termes
 Partie 3: Détermination de l'épaisseur, de l'épaisseur moyenne d'une feuille en liasse et de la masse
volumique moyenne
 Partie 4: Détermination de la résistance à la rupture par traction, de l'allongement à la rupture par traction
et de l'absorption d'énergie à la rupture par traction
 Partie 5: Détermination de la résistance à la rupture par traction à l'état humide
