ISO/PAS 20542:2006

Industrial automation systems and integration — Product data representation and exchange — Reference model for systems engineering

ISO/PAS 20542:2006 establishes the requirements for the exchange of information between stakeholders in the system engineering and design process. It defines a specification, in an application-protocol-like format, for the implementation of such exchanges using a STEP application reference model.
