Plastics - Film and sheeting - Determination of tear resistance - Part 2: Elmendorf method (ISO 6383-2:1983)

Applies to the following types of reactors: shunt reactors; series reactors including current-limiting reactors, neutral-earthing reactors, power flow control reactors, motor starting reactors, arc-furnace series reactors; filter (tuning) reactors; capacitor damping reactors; capacitor discharge reactors; earthing transformers (neutral couplers); arc-suppression reactors; smoothing reactors for HVDC and industrial application.

Foreword
ISO (the International Organization for Standardization) is a worldwide federation of
national Standards bodies (ISO member bedies). The work of developing International
Standards is carried out through ISO technical committees. Every member body
interested in a subject for which a technical committee has been authorized has the
right to be represented on that committee. International organizations, governmental
and non-governmental, in liaison with ISO, also take part in the work.
Draft International Standards adopted by the technical committees are circulated to
the member bodies for approval before their acceptance as International Standards by
the ISO Council.
International Standard ISO 6383/2 (formerly ISO/DIS 6824) was developed by
Technical Committee ISO/TC 61, plastics, and was circulated to the member bodies in
February 1980.
