Countersunk flat head screws (common head style with type H or type Z cross recess) - Product grade A - Part 1: Steel of property class 4.8 (ISO 7046-1:1994)

This International Standard specifies the characteristics of cross recessed countersunk flat head screws with threads from M 1,6 up to and including M 10, of product grade A and property class 4.8. If other specifications are required, they should be selected from existing International Standards, for example ISO 262, ISO 888, ISO 898-1, ISO 965-2.

Werdenin besonderen Fällen andere Festlegungen als die in der vorliegenden Internationalen Norm benötigt, so sind diese den bestehenden Internationalen Normen zu entnehmen, z. B. ISO 262, ISO 888, ISO 898-1, ISO 965-2.

Foreword
ISO (the International Organization for Standardization) is a worldwide

1 Scope
This part of ISO 7046 specifies the characteristics of countersunk flat head screws with threads from M1,6 to
MlO inclusive, of product grade A and property class 4.8, and with type H or type Z Cross recess.
If, in special cases, specifications other than those Iisted in this part of ISO 7046 are required, they should be
selected from existing International Standards, for example ISO 261, ISO 888, ISO 898-1 and ISO 965-2.
