Multimedia home network configuration - Basic Reference model - Part 1: System model (IEC 62608-1:2014)

EN IEC 62608-1 specifies the basic reference model to configure devices connected to a home network with a configuration framework for network applications running on such devices. This part of IEC 62608 applies to devices that are connected via cables and switched on and that support the IP protocol. The reference model covers inside and outside network connectivity. This standard specifies the system model and functions that each component should support.

L'IEC 62608-1:2014 spécifie le modèle de référence de base pour configurer les appareils connectés à un réseau domestique, avec une structure de configuration pour les applications réseau qui fonctionnent sur de tels appareils et elle décrit le modèle de système et les fonctions dont la prise en charge est recommandée pour chaque composant. Elle s'applique aux appareils qui sont raccordés et alimentés par des câbles et qui prennent en charge le protocole IP. Le modèle de référence couvre la connectivité des réseaux intérieurs et extérieurs.

Standard EN IEC 62608-1 določa osnovni referenčni model za konfiguriranje naprav, priključenih v domače omrežje, na podlagi ogrodja konfiguracije za omrežne aplikacije, ki se izvajajo v tovrstnih napravah. Ta del standarda IEC 62608 velja za naprave, ki podpirajo protokol IP, so vklopljene in priključene prek kablov. Referenčni model zajema notranji in zunanji vidik omrežne povezljivosti. Ta standard določa sistemski model in funkcije, ki naj bi jih podpirale vse komponente.

FOREWORD
1) The International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) is a worldwide organization for standardization comprising
all national electrotechnical committees (IEC National Committees). The object of IEC is to promote
