Amandma A14:2012 je dodatek k standardu SIST EN 60061-4:1999.
Obstaja kodirni sistem, ki se lahko uporabi za dodeljevanje oznak vznožkom in okovom žarnic in sijalk.
Črke, števila in simboli, ki sestavljajo to oznako, se lahko smiselno določijo.
Sistem je mednarodno sprejet, zato ga je treba čim bolj uporabljati. Samoumevno je, da obstaja zveza med določenim vznožkom in okovom žarnic in sijalk, ki se uporabi skupaj z njim. Ta zveza se odraža v ustrezni dodelitvi, del katere se uporablja pri obeh proizvodih. Posledično ta sistem omogoča primerjavo vznožkov in okov žarnic in sijalk različnih proizvajalcev, in če so medsebojno zamenljivi, lahko dodeli isto oznako. Ta sistem je prav tako močno orodje za nadzorovanje proliferacije načrtov. Dodeljevanje oznak novim tipom vznožk in okov žarnic in sijalk je naloga pododbora 34B strokovne skupine EPC IEC. Cilj tega sistema je vsaka dodeljena kratka in čim lažje izgovorljiva oznaka za spodbujanje njihove uporabe v praksi. Ta sistem temelji na več poddelih, izdelanih iz črk, številk in simbolov, od katerih ima vsak svoje značilnosti. Samo ena oznaka bo dodeljena za določen vznožek ali okov. Ta sistem ne poskuša določiti materialov. Deli oznake so združeni brez prostora za druge ločevalne oznake.

This amendment A14 modifies the European Standard EN 60061-4:1992; it was approved by CENELEC on
2011-09-26. CENELEC members are bound to comply with the CEN/CENELEC Internal Regulations which
stipulate the conditions for giving this amendment the status of a national standard without any alteration.

Up-to-date lists and bibliographical references concerning such national standards may be obtained on
application to the CEN-CENELEC Management Centre or to any CENELEC member.

This amendment exists in three official versions (English, French, German). A version in any other language
made by translation under the responsibility of a CENELEC member into its own language and notified to the
CEN-CENELEC Management Centre has the same status as the official versions.
