Personal eye-protection - Filters for welding and related techniques - Transmittance requirements and recommended use

This European standard specifies the scale numbers and transmittance requirements for filters intended to protect operators performing work involving welding, braze-welding, arc gouging and plasma jet cutting. The other applicable requirements for these types of filters are given in EN 166:1995. Guidance on the selection and use of these filters are given in Annex A. The specifications for welding filters with switchable luminous transmittance and welding filters with dual luminous transmittance are given in EN 379:1994.

Persönlicher Augenschutz - Filter für das Schweißen und verwandte Techniken - Transmissionsanforderungen und empfohlene Anwendung

Diese Europäische Norm legt Schutzstufen und Transmissionsanforderungen für Filter fest, die für den Schutz von Beschäftigten beim Schweißen, Hartlöten, Lichtbogenfugenhobeln und Plasmaschmelzschneiden vorgesehen sind. Sie enthält auch Anforderungen für Schweißerschutzfilter mit zwei Schutzstufen.
Die weiteren geltenden Anforderungen für diese Filterarten sind in EN 166 angegeben. Die Anforderungen für die Tragkörper/Rahmen, in die sie eingebaut werden sollen, sind in EN 175 angegeben.
Anhang A gibt einen Leitfaden für die Auswahl und Anwendung dieser Filter.
Die Festlegungen für Schweißerschutzfilter mit umschaltbarem Lichttransmissionsgrad sind in EN 379 angegeben.

Protection individuelle de l'oeil - Filtres pour le soudage et les techniques connexes - Exigences relatives au facteur de transmission et utilisation recommandée

La présente Norme européenne spécifie les numéros d'échelon et les exigences relatives au facteur de transmission des filtres destinés a assurer la protection d'opérateurs effectuant les travaux concernant le soudage, le soudo brasage, le gougeage a l'arc avec jet d'air comprimé et le coupage au jet de plasma. Elle comprend également les exigences relatives aux filtres de soudage a doubles numéros d'échelon.
Les autres exigences applicables pour ces types de filtres figurent dans l'EN 166. Les exigences relatives aux montures/supports sur lesquels ils doivent etre montés figurent dans l'EN 175.
Un guide pour le choix et l'utilisation de ces filtres est donné a l'annexe A.
Les spécifications pour les filtres de soudage avec facteur de transmission dans le visible commutable font l'objet de l'EN 379.
